I’m Simon Schoeters, a freelance developer based in Belgium.

nimbly is my tiny agency where I build software for clients or work on open source.

Web applications are my main expertise, from small static pages — like this one — to highly scalable web applications serving thousands of requests per minute while streaming live video.

I spend most of my time tinkering with Ruby & JavaScript in UNIX like environments.

I work best in self-organizing teams where people take initiative. Well crafted and tested code is my thing but at the end of the day shipping products is what counts.
